Bf:bc2

Anyone here picking up Battlefield: Bad Company 2? The multiplayer looks a lot like BF2. I'm trying to decide whether or not to get it.

Yeah, it has multiplayer. It does have a 32 player maximum, which kind of sucks, but isn't horrible either. A lot will depend on how the maps are structured. Vehicle selection is pretty good. There are no jets, but there are helicopter gunships. For ground vehicles, it looks like tanks and ATV's. Maybe some kind of truck/jeep as well. The environments will be varied: dessert, forest, jungle and arctic are known so far. EA has been showing a bunch of videos, but all of just two maps, and they've been pretty stingy with other information on the multiplayer.

It is class based with soldier, sniper, medic and engineer classes. It is also squad based, although you can go lone wolf if you want. Voice coms are built in.
