Personally, i am looking forward to the new L4d, but some of the complaints are valid. Especially since we've been waiting for the SDK for so long. Now modders won't pay much attention to L4D now that L4D 2 is on its way.

But then again, gamers complain when game companies wait forever to release a new game (duke nukem, diablo 3) and complain when they release a game too soon.

We've been giving Valve a hard time because of their lack of action in providing DLC and bug fixes. This is difficult on our front as well as Valve's. We have been talking to them for the past few weeks trying to get some info on the upcoming DLC and what they might be doing for bug fixes.
