I was in for about 5 minutes...then the game crashed to desktop.
As usual. I really hate everything that has to do with the 1942 engine.

Is it just me or am I seeing a lot of people crashing lately?I was crashing, until I followed Stealth's advice and removed DC and reinstalled. Everything runs smoothly now.

Speaking of crashing, i got dumped from your server twice last night......!!!

Don't get booted from any others, and it wasn't due to TK or "playing like Inkswitch" that got me killed. I'm not THAT bad of a player....

Did you reinstall just DC or 1942 as a whole?
And when you reinstalled, did you just install the latest version of DC or did you install and then patch up?

Go to your Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs and uninstall any instances of DC you see there (you do not need to uninstall BF1942 itself, just DC). Then, delete the Desert Combat folder from your BF1942/Mods directory. Then, install the fill .5 release. That did the trick for me, and Mikey as well.

already did that..after a LCD monitor completely screwed up my driver settings....

I got dropped once last night, when the port map openned, but everyone else got dropped too. It was a shame, we had a couple of good games with 34-35 people on.
