I was wondering if anyone here plays BF1942 and or Counterstrike in a competitive team fashion? I always like to get in structured games like this. Let me know!

The only clans some people here are in, are UT clans as far as I know Big O.

I used to be in a CS clan well before I hooked up with all these weirdos. :p However the rampant cheating killed it for me. My old clan homepage was http://www.teamplay.cc Our clan name was [BFK]

I've heard rumblings of several people here interested in competetive BF1942. I say what the hell, let's make a loose clan representing the Asylum! :D

I am for some type of organized game. Say, set up teams a week before the game so they can divide into units and make a plan of action. That would be kinda cool.

I am not much into clans, though. I am too lazy to show up on time. :)

I don't want to get all kinds of clannish. I just want organized play instead of a bunch of cowboys not taking support roles and working as a team to achieve an objective.

O you should hit the Gaming Asylum BF1942 server. We run 36 people (might up it to 40) and run Desert Combat. Currently, you can usually find 12+ people from this community online at any given night. We all hop on Inkswitch's TeamSpeak server too so it makes for some hilarious fun. All these guys are kickass players and work for objectives so I think you might get the kind of gaming you are looking for. Paladin and I think Q have even dropped by.

The server usually starts humming around 8-9pm EST so cmon by one day this week. Send a PM to Inkswitch and he will set you up with a TeamSpeak account so you can join in on the fun. :)

Yeah,it's a lot more fun if it's coordinated rather than running around shooting anything that moves. It's a worthy goal to improve teamwork of any kind.

Last night, teamspeak was sweet. It seemed like Play, SFT and myself were hunting down F7 quite a bit, but the teamwork and communiction were awesome!

Yeah, I think the Teamspeak really made a difference in that squeaker of a game. Typing is nice, but you have to stop,... type,... wait for comfirmation,... and then proceed. Voice is nice - made for some nice assaults and that's the way this game needs to be played, rather than some unsteady random stream of one player assaults. It's a lot more fun too.

P.S. - Take a look at the "Team Training Sessions" thread in the BF1942 forum. :D

But it's very, very, very tempting......Check the 48 hour Madness sales at www.gogamer.com every few days. I got BF1942 in a CD/jewel-case only version (no box or manual) for < $20.

Cheers,
Salyavin
