But I have been trying to make myself useful. When Im not sinking much needed power cells into the ocean, i'm constantly shooting my teammates.


I've learned alot in the short time i've been playing. I'm trying to build up cert points so I can learn to hack. I get tired of having to wait on someone to come and hack a base for me.

Sheesh...did they severely reduce experience awards? I played for about an hour yesterday and only got 35xp for a base cap. Yeah, I don't think I'll be subscribing.

NEW CONGLOMERATE Medic -btw i picked up a good trick from Goaty - you can level up quickly (and gain a couple of certs ) by going to the firing rang and testing all the guns . same with the flyers and Ants and tanks :) i got up to battle rank 4 when i was hanging with Goaty and F7 on

BTW 2 - i also play ( but not too much) on Werner as the TR . Phanz let me know if you want to hook up -we'll have fun - knocking the enemy back to their home world and if you have TS - even better - it is worth its weight in gold

Hmm.. maybe I can delete it and go back, do the training again.

I play on Johari. Dont ask me why I started on that world.. I just did. :D When do you normally get on?

Oh, and I realize you can be one of the three empires (Im VC), but how do you know if youre a medic or whatever..? Is this just based on your actions in the game or what?

Radio, Goat, and myself are on Johari playing as New Conglomerate. However I would be morethan happy to change to a new faction since NC SUCKS! :p

Hort: Basically everyone starts out the same. As you gain experience and levels you get Certification Points to spend. Walk up to a Certification Terminal and you can spend your points there. There are tons of skills such as pilot licenses for all the vehicles, medium and heavy assault, different armor certs, 3 different MAX certs (the heavy armor dudes) as well as Hacking/Advanced Hacking, Engineering/Battlefield Engineering, and Medical/Advanced Medical. Just spend the points in what you want and you now have those capabilities.

Forewarning: The Medical tree is useless.

If you only got 35 xp for a base cap you were following the wrong squad leader. You get more xp for the bigger battles, hence not allowing people to capture empty bases to gain XP.

The base myself and radio took after you left gave Rado 5000 battle points and me 3000 command points! (5000 is the highest you get for a base cap)

Phan- are you going by Phanataz? I'll add you to my friends list so I can invite you to my squad and show you some things.

btw I unlearned my Liberator for heavy assault, oh yeah the jackhammer rocks I was a killing machine last night.

Radio was talking about in your sanctuary in game there is a training center that if you use all weapons and vehicles it will levle you up pretty quick.

The Vanu or VC have the best weapons and are ALMOST un-defeatable. Guess I can't add you to my squad.

You choose your class with which certifications you get. As you level up you get more cert points to buy better equipment, then you decide what kind of role you want to play soldier, spy with the invisi suit, engineer, medic and advanced hacker. Everyopne can hack a base or doors you just need to use your REK to do it.

Im on as Phanatazv2. Play, i think ive seen you around. Tonight was the first time i had gotten into battles with 20+ people. Gah. My framerate goes down to like 1 - 8 fps when this happens. I checked it by pressing shift + .

Anyone else get low framerates during battles? I doubt theres anything I can do on my end to make things smoother. But, F7, if you have any tips that worked for you, I'd appreciate hearing them. :D

Oh hey. im still a bit confused about getting cert points. I know that you get cert points by getting experience. But when I look at my progress bar indicator, I can see it moving up as I get experience. But then it just restarts..? I dont advance in battle ranking and I dont get cert points. This is after doing all of the weapons in the firing range, and after gaining some experience in battle.

You have to fill up all the blocks in order to gain 1 point. The bar is for 1 block. The requirements in the beginning aren't that hard but the higher battle ranks you get the longer it will take to achieve them.
