For those of you new to TS:

-Make sure in your System Audio Properties your Microphone is not muted. Also, turn the slider up to max level. On most systems, you can get there by clicking the little speaker icon in your system tray.

-In TS, turn off voice activation. Voice Activation causes severe echoing to everyone on the server. It also gives people firsthand experience of your heavy breathing. :p (Settings > Sound Input/Output Settings)

-In TS, turn your sound level up somewhere between halfway and max. If you leave it at default, you will not be able to hear people above your game sounds. (Settings > Options >Sound Notifications tab) or going to START > CONTROL PANEL > SOUNDS AND AUDIO DEVICES, then clicking on the ADVANCED button on the screen that pops up.

-Once you are on Ink's server, you may want to make some hotkeys to switch channels. Right now there are 3 channels: Lobby, Coalition, and Opposition. First you need to connect to Ink's server. Once you are in, choose SETTINGS > KEY OPTIONS. This will bring you to the hotkey setup screen. Click on ADD. You will now see 3 boxes at the top of the new box that popped up. Set a key in each of the boxes. For instance, I use CTRL + ALT + 1 to switch to Lobby channel. CTRL + ALT + 2 to switch to Coalition and so on. After you set your keys, in the bottom portion just choose Switch Channel and then choose the channel you want. Again, you have to be connected to Ink's server to get the channel choices.

If you have any trouble at all, feel free to post or PM and I or someone else will help you out. :)
