Why do I think that the player in that vid has no life, and has practiced all that for 18 hours a day since the game was released?

Wow...I wish I could do that. Once or twice I've been able to go up a wall, but I can't do it repeatedly yet. And I can never pounce from afar. Sweet vid! And, yes, come play Idol!

Took the plunge tonight, good fun. Enjoy it a lot more on the PC than i did on xbox. God i hate console FPS :)

Tried messing around with the hunter in a single player map...the wall jumping is as difficult as advertised.

Played a campaign almost all the way through, not sure which. The last chapter was waiting for a boat to come on some docks. Luckily I had two pretty good players on the team that knew the good setup points and what not. So i just picked up a combat shotty and picked off stragglers (and demolished witches and tanks)

Good times.

Single player is pretty fun, but I think I am ready to try some multi. Hopefully will catch up with some of you online. :rockon:

Finally dove into the multi, and I must say, it does rock. I kinda suck at versus though, trying to get used to playing as infected. This game is a blast. Hope to catch up with some of you online soon.

The game is good but i find a majority of the players pretty annoying.

It's neat when you log into a game, taking over either a computer controlled survivor or a survivor an incompetent player had, so you're low on health and therefore stumbling around. Then your team goes sprinting off into the distance to the next choke point, leaving you behind...where upon you're instantly smoked or pounced and there's nothing you can do about it, and they immediately start a kick vote.

Theres so few people though, it's easy for a couple of friends to dominate voting. had a game yesterday where there were 2 friends on my infected team, who were doing pretty bad themselves. They missed all their smoker pulls, all their booms, etc. I'm medicore at best at the game still and i was dominating them in damage caused. Then the round is about to end, survivors are like full health and about to spring to the safe room and they wanted me to spawn as smoker and pull one over to an alarmed car to cause a horde, but the survivors thought this through and molotved the car so i couldn't exactly spawn there and pull them to it. And apparently, because i didn't futilely spawn in the middle of a molotov flamebath that warranted a kick vote. The 2 friends oked it, obviously, the third person was noob and just accepted.

Seems to happen a lot.

Yeah...I've been kicked quite a few times for not falling in line fast enough. The other day I nearly got kicked because kid commando running our Infected team wanted everyone to be in the same area ahead of the Survivors, but I had spawned behind. So they thought I was ignoring them as I scooted backwards through the map so I could be allowed to respawn with them.

Best is if you have a way to off yourself when you see the kick coming. Molotov, handy edge, run into the horde....

I did have a blast one evening as the Versus auto-join dumped me into a modded Hunter games server. Tag is pretty fun--you really get a chance to explore the maps. :) If you can wall jump (I can't) you can get on top of Mercy Hospital at the end of Stage 3.

Yeah i got the invite the other day but i was afk when it came in originally. d'oh

Just play versus still, though i'm actually bothering to play survivors now instead of just changing servers at round end :)

Can hit some 20+ pounces with regularity now, no crazy wall jumps or anything but more accurate with the plain long distance ones which is fun.
