Just picked up the game last Sunday and so far I'm satisfied with the overall gameplay. Though the graphics is OK, it won't compete with Doom3, UT2k4, or anything like that. Don't go jumping into this game expecting it's the endall to all other games in its genre and you'll be fine.

Storyline scores a 3.5-4/5. The storyline, though simple, does a pretty good job in keeping you interested and wanting to jump to the next mission to find out what happens next. The game also does a pretty good job in forcing you to use your force powers in order to figure out the necessary puzzles to finish the game. It's not overly complicated, but enough to keep you amusingly challenged. On some missions, you'll have to accomplish certain tasks in a certain order in order to complete it, so by just going through Rambo style just won't work.

Gameplay scores a 4/5. What I aslo find pretty cool is how you can incorporate your force powers with your lightsaber slashings to create some neat attack moves. Though you can slice and dice your way through the entire game, I find it more interesting to use the force to disable, confuse, or kill the enemy, along with the dismemberments caused by the lightsaber of course. I only wish they would add more realism to the gore, i.e. heads, legs, torso, or whatever should come flying off if you slice through it. Also, being able to do jump tricks off walls is pretty cool as well. Kinda make you look like a wannabe Yoda from Attack of the Clones.

The AI is a bit below average (2.5/5). Most of the bots work on a see-and-shoot nature. They see you, they shoot. That's about as complicated as it get. You can't even lure them to fight each other, unlike Doom 2 which was made years ago.

Graphics wise, this game scores a 3/5. The cutscenes were OK at best. On some of them, you can actually see lines on the characters faces where different noses, chins, and so forth were piecemeal together. Makes them look like Frankenstein if you ask me. One of the bugs that I found amusing is the light-saber sticking out the side of my head thing. What's with that? The game allows you to carry a lightsaber in each hand. However, when wielding the double-sided saber (Darth Maul), sometimes the second light-saber ends up potruding out the side of your head rather than you grasping it in your other hand. I'll post a screenshot of it when I get home. However, making up for the graphics weaknesses, the sound was done fairly well. The sounds of lasers skimming by, explosions in the background, and flying vehicles passing by really emerses you in the environment. An EAX or surround sound capable system is recommended.

In summary, though the gameplay was fun, the lack in graphics and AI makes this game an overall 3/5. For those that have it, what do you guys think of it?
