The first Forgotten Hope 0.5B beta release on the 26th was a roaring success, with tens of thousands of downloads clocked by the major file sites, hundreds of people browsing our forums at the same time, and over a thousand players currently playing online, making us the second most popular mod during the weekend, all thanks to you!
The feedback has been positive, and despite some obvious bugs and the high expectations of the public, the first beta was very well received across the board. Known issues with the 0.5B Beta will be dealt with shortly with a small patch, and future larger patches will include several all-new maps of the same caliber as the ones seen in the first release. These patches will also contain new and polished vehicles and hand weapons, adjusted game balance based on the feedback of the community, and some great surprises!
We'd also like to thank Electronic Arts for their support, and Digital Illusions CE for creating the best online game ever, Battlefield 1942.
We will move forward faster than ever now that we are able to betatest on a large scale with the help of you all. So stay tuned for more great updates, previews and news soon.
