I got in about 2 minutes after it was released on Steam. :P

I played for about 2 hours. Waaaaaaaay past my bedtime but it was totally worth it.

The full version seems to run better for me than the demo. In the demo i'd drop to 40 fps if there is alot going on. In the full version, I stayed in the mid 50's to 60.

I checked out versus mode first. Its pretty cool. At the beginning of the level, you either start out as human or the infected. Humans seem to get points based on how far they get in the map. I think there are other factors that contribute to points being handed out ( like helping your teammates), but I don't recall what they are at the moment.

So, at the end of the map, the teams switch sides. Humans become the infected and vice versa. The infected get points by the damage they do. You can spawn nearly anywhere on the map, as long as you are not too close to the humans. I love the boomer. Getting points by vomiting on the humans is great!

When you are on the infected side, and you are killed, you must wait 20 seconds for a respawn. You are automatically assigned as a creature. Haven't been the Tank yet, but he looks like a blast!

The game experience is like Assault mode in UT'99. You hop on, play for an hour, then you log out. You get pretty worn out as the game is fast and furious.

Its not a game where you have to spend hours playing, although you do earn Achievements throughout the game.

Heres mine so far:

You will have even a better gaming experience if you play with friends. You get the occasional asshat in PUG games. Then again, if hes not on your team you'll be able to rip his guts out when you are playing as the Infected. :ack:
