So who's got or is getting UT3?

I've been debating getting it. How does CTF compare to '99 CTF? The demo was missing that :(

I've got it. Gameplay is good, but the vehicles still feel like an unnecessary addition. The remake of CTF-Coret too me feels cluttered with decoration, but some of the other CTF maps are much better. The single-player campaign is something I'm really enjoying, although the missions themselves aren't much different from UT2003/4's ladder matches. The bots are much harder, especially on vehicle maps, where they can play me to a tie or outright defeat on Easy skill. On non-vehicle maps, their skill needs to be higher to provide a challenge.

The trailers prior to the release gave the distinct impression that Epic was serious about delivering a story you can play. You're right, this is just a series of FMVs bridging the tutorial tournament ladder.

Meh. It's all about online multiplayer, I suppose. But even then, I'm not impressed by playing UT99 with updated graphics. For those who play this often, did the time they spent tuning, tweaking and polishing the gameplay work for you?

I picked it up since I got a gift cert for BBuy. Coret makes my eyes bleed. Too much random "crap". The feel feels 99ish, but like, double jump = normal 99 jump... just sort of meh. Ill probably tweak it heavily and make it lose a lot of the random bs. GoW, what servers you play on? Ill hop on every now and then when I'm not playing wow :p
