View Full Version : Mouse/keyboard
WHat's everybody's preferred gaming mouse and keyboard these days? Have had my trusty MS stuff forever and need something for the new rig next week.
Logitech? Saitek? Merc? Razer? MS?

I have the Logitech G15.
Has a screen that shows whos speaking in vent.. a great help when learning what name goes with what voice :D
Also can show stats, etc.
Thanks- certainly looking at that one. Wondering about the Razer Copperhead and the Tarantula also. Though I think the G15 and G5 or G7 are probably the way to go.

Ok, my personal opinion would have to be the G15! It has 3 different macro keys each with 18 programmable keys. You can also record keystrokes with delays while in game. Plus each game is a different profile so each game has 3 macro keys.

I'm on a generic (actually MS, but same diff) keyboard, and a G5 mouse. The new G5's have two thumb buttons, which I'm 99.9% sure will come in handy for Crysis (may the fastest armor keybinds win!)
I tried the G5 tonight at Best Buy. Like the fit in my hand but unsure about the jog wheel, seems too "coarse".

A bit old, but works for clicking on porn.

Ya, the scroll is a little coarse, but that's pretty useful if you use it for anything important, like say, weapon switching, where one click too far or not far enough can be hazardous to your health.

1990's version of Trackman Marble and any old keyboard.
I'm going to be really sad when I can't find replacements for my Marbles.
Sounds like a personal problem.
