DC crash probs possible fix ?

No more crashing for me ...... I reinstalled BF1942 and patched to 1.4 ... not 1.45. then installed DC and patched that to 0.4j incremental patch. I was able to play all maps with no crashing .... so far anyway. Not sure if I'm missing anything in DC by not using the 1.45 patch though. Also I have not installed RTR or secret weapons, no custom maps also , and no other mods.

jeez ....... haven't even thought of that !!!!!! glad I have it working though. gonna try right now .... brb....

Ahhhhh ...... I was happy for a sec ...... nope can't connect. Definately an issue with the 1.45 patch though, hopefully they'll resolve it soon.

Do you really need Battle of Britain and the like installed? Those add ons were a problem before too.

I left them all off but DC and needed patches and it works fine.
I don't like tinkering with computer stuff..I like it to just work.
