Having map probs !!!!!

O.K. .... I have the current patches, bf1942 is 1.45, my DC is 0.4j.
I keep crashing right after loading these maps, Guadalcanal, Battle of Britain, and Aberdeen. Not sure if there r more that crash. so far those r all I've found. When I patched my DC I used the incremental patch, wondering if I should use the full install ? d/l'ing it now.

Yeah. Try the full.
ElectricHead has problems with the incrementals, too. He always gets the full version and that seems to work for him.

Sounds like you downloaded the server script, instead of the file it was meant to connect you with. Maybe you right clicked the link instead of left-clicking it? That can get you a php file (which is totally useless to you).

Nope, I dl'ed the full versions as well and I get the same problems with those maps. :ink:

I'm looking into it now. Might have something to do with the 1.45 patch. Gonna reinstall ....... AGAIN this time without the 1.45 patch just to see what happens.
