Gamespot has a new first-look review of Battlefield 2142...

Battlefield 2142 ... is introducing incentives to play in squads. Basically, squads will be able to collect points faster for special "field upgrades." Even without these upgrades, squads will be more potent. Squad leaders now have the ability to place a beacon that squad members can spawn on.
