Besides........ When Dr. Sin told me I didn't have enough skill to enjoy UT2k3, I decided I didn't have enough skill to play any of their games anymore.

And, the games suck ass.

As much as I HATE the Unreal series and the company behind them right now... UT2k4 does actually look like it might be good. Onslaught and ingame vehicles might persuade me to buy it... though I thought 2k3 was going to be great before I actually play it :(

I just borrowed Unreal 2 from my brother and played through it. It was dull in pretty much every way an FPS can be dull -- dull weapons, dull level design, dull enemies, dull storyline... The only thing that wasn't dull was the unbelievable rendering of metal surfaces (and by "unbelievable" I mean both "that looks cool" and "that looks really fake").

Agreed. Excrutiatingly dull. I couldn't believe that I played it as long as I did; must have failed my saving throw. I kept thinking "maybe THIS level has something..." Nope.
UT2K3 was not much better. Everything just felt "slow" in both of these games and the speed of UT was what kept me on the hook for so long.

I still enjoy at UT2k3 game here and there..but UT had something special....

But it will get this and UT2k4 as well....because you never know........and i'm really dissapointed in the way DC has turned out....
