Looking at my gear does anybody have any suggestions that would help me out? I'm thinking of BOE or crafted items I can buy or quest items I can get without having to test my amazingly bad luck on drop %.

Dunno GoW. I my experience, once you have lvl 50+ blues mostly, the only real upgrades tend to be BoP. There are some crafted bracers with pretty good AP.
In the unlikely event that's their real name, it would be swift flight bracers Check with your local DM-running Leatherworkers.

We have a pally with Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros .. first time I've ever seen a pally lead damage meters in an MC-equipped raid. O_O

wow....i'm surprised even with the hand he can top damage meters. Tell your rogues and warriors to stop slacking. hehe.

We had ****TY luck with rag, he is stingy as hell with weapons for us. But we did alright with nef, first 2 kills he dropped an Ashkandi, greatsword of the brotherhood for us.

We have a sulfuras, a rogue with thunderfury, and someone just left their guild (it's falling apart) and joined us, he was their MT...and he also had a thunderfury. fear the 3 thunderfury zerg! hehe.

and as far as dpsing though...you'd be surprised what some classes can do. Feral druids can really bring quite a bit of dps to the table, as can shadow priests...especially on the alliance (wisdom judgement + blessing of wisdom = zomg wtf nerf)

I have a friend who plays his shadow priest in a DPS role on alliance. He's always top 5 damage meter for full clears, and has gotten #1 on rag, ony, and full MC runs.

The only person who routinely beats him by any large margin is a rogue in near full bloodfang with a thunderfury mainhand and a chromatically tempered sword offhand.

Ya, the pally in question is all dps specced and geared. My own little moonkin usually makes top-5 in full MC clears. Moonfire spam ftw!

We usually have a hunter in the top-5, ya.
Usually the best-equipped from each dps class makes the top-5, and rarely more than one of each class.
So 1x MAge, 1x Warlock, 1x Rogue, 1x Hunter, 1x Moonkin. Some variances occur of course, but that's how it normally works out for our guild.

Sure its a mana hog. Other times I use my one free spell every 5 mins. Unbuffed its up to 3200. I have over +400 to heal & talent points that boost heals.
