This game is actually very, very good. Have done the first couple of levels, and am having a blast. In one mission, you battle over a building. The Germans barricade themselves in the upper floors of the building, so you plant some bombs on the building main supports and blow 'er sky high! Very cool, and very immersive.
You wanna get your heart beating? Buy this game...

You're only a couple levels into it? All that time on your hands I figured you'd be done already. :D

Does it live up to the Stalingrad levels of the first game? That was one of the most visceral experiences I've had in a video game.

Yes, I am working my way through Stalingrad now... very intense. The game started with the Russian missions, although the British missions opened up after my first couple of Soviet ones... you can switch back and forth between them or just do one campaign at a time.
The areas seem a bit more open now.. more ways to complete missions. So far, I am impressed!
I must say, if it were a decision between Q4 and this game, I would go for this one. Infinity Ward has the immersion factor down!

Well, duh.. MS. Pacman would have been a better pick. I'm going to have to check out CoD2. Does it play better performance wise than the demo did?

Finished the Russian and British campaigns; just getting started on the American missions. Very sweet game...

Can't be a nazi.
I am running on 1600x1200 with a 7800GT....it is nice.
2 GB ram.

Finished it.... great game. Cannot tell much, cause it would spoil for you. All I can say is.... great game!

Nope- just got it today...
I'm well into the African campaign, the game ran smoothly until I got into the Libyan street fighting and it's chugging pretty hard.
So far this is confirming for me that this is the greatest single-player game franchise going at the moment.
Finished it; a great game. If I had any complaints it would be that overall, it's a little too short and some of the individual levels are too short.
Still- engrossing, looks good... LOL @ "Hey Fritz! Say hello to your sister for me!" :naughty:
