This is every bit as fun as CoD1 IMO- I can't play it full-out graphically but OK at a lower res.

If you have not tried this out yet, you definitely should. Very nicely done demo.

Good demo! I tried DoD:Source (not as good) and it was ok..I kept trying to right-click to aim and getting blown up. :(

It's a lot of fun. IMO it is the character animation, more than any other single factor, that makes it so immersive--thebots move, and use the environment more convincingly than any game I have seen.

And their detail at distance is just great. I love sniping in CoD. Pop a guy from 100 yards... helmet pops off... he staggers back into position without his helmet... pop him again.

Very immersive. I still am wowed by that level in CoD1 in the snowy forest in moonlight.

Let's hope the multi catches on.

Holy cow.. what are the system requirements for this game? :eyes: I got horrible framerates. Wasn't too crazy about the controls setup.

From what I could play, the game seems very intense and realistic. Had that "youre in the movie" feel to it. It's too bad I couldn't fully enjoy it, and I thought I had a pretty decent system.

It came default with 4xAA. Turned of AA and it ran much better for me.

I still have to lower the resolution down to 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600 if i really want smoother framerates.

I've played the demo about 6 times now. It's really entertaining. :D

Yup-
I'm running 800x600. I've been through it more times than I care to admit.

Hehe it got me to try and play the first game for the first time. Unfortunately, I have some kind of glitch which causes the game menus to be blank--didn't happen with the demo.
