having DC trouble

I am having trouble getting DC to work - i updated to .39 patch and i still get " please insert battlefield 1942 cd " everytime i try to join GA's ( or anyother DC ) server - btw , reg old BF42 works just fine............PLEASE HELP :cry: I MISS PLAYING WITH YOU GUYS !!!

Do you have the BF1942 CD 1 in the drive? :) DC requires it.

Or you can try getting a NO-CD patch at www.gamecopyworld.com

Radio, GA's server is running the new BF 1.45 patch so you'll need to update your version to it in order to play. Unfortunately, unless gamecopyworld has came out with a no-cd patch for 1.45 within the last 24 hrs, you'll need to insert CD1 everytime to play.

Thank You Guys for a speedy reply :) - i had the road to rome cd inside - when that message poped up ..it worked all the time before ... and i just got the secert weapon expansion pack ( its not as lame as i thought it would be - actually had some fun games trying to figure out the new maps :) ) - the game updated me to 1.45 . I then tried playing again with the secert weapon cd -still no luck :( - btw i tried to jump into another DC server and it came up with the same message .

You must use Disc 1 of BF1942 now... thank you 1.45 patch...

It is supposed to work for all the different games tho'...

OMG - Stealth , you are very right !!!!!!!!!!! i did need disc 1 for DC to work :D Thank You - you saved me from a major uninstalling project !!!!!!!!! Oddly enough - if i want to play Secert Weapon . I have to slip in the SW disc for it to work ;) still its fun to play !!

Don't forget to add the new Iraqi Dam map that goes with the 1.45 patch. Your old Iraqi Map won't work now.

This is actually easier than WinZip. Let it choose everything itself when installing.

When the ONE time it requires you to click extract all you have to do is remember what EH posted.


When replacing a map with a newer version, let rar Overwrite it.

Yeah I noticed that too...I used to play with the RTR CD but now I need the BF1942 CD. :/
