Hey Thrill!

I was thinking about downloading the Planetside 7-day trial from FilePlanet this weekend. Wanna see what the new updates did for the game.

Hey TK!

I tested Planetside during the beta and had a blast! However due to the lack of content, I couldn't justify the monthly fee. It was great fun don't get me wrong, just a bit monotonous.

Ok, it is now available. Sorry for the delay... it took 15 minutes to transfer it over (is that enough bandwidth for ya?)

I'm on my 2nd 7 day trial :D and I'm starting to have a LOT of fun! It sucked at first but now that I have enough certification points to get better weapons and vehicles it is just rocking!
I actually went and bought the game, what server do you play on? I play on Johari as a NC.

I highly suggest downloading the 7 day free trial, check it out again now that there are SO many people playing. Although a week isn't enough time to level up high enough to get some good vehicles and weapons.

There is nothing like getting in a HUGE 100 v 100 battle for a single base, it took us like an hour and a half to finally capture one last night.

I thought it was a little monotonous at first but then I realized what do you do in BF? The same thing, capture bases or points over and over again but it's never the same battle.

I've been lucky enough to have been invited to a good outfit and the teamwork is just awesome. Letting your teammates know to grab a bomber because you need air support and seeing the bombs raining hell right in front of you.

I don't know, there is something about it that is keeping me playing, and the discussions about adding side missions and other things they might implement will make this game even better.

So what can it hurt? A little time and some bandwidth to check it out again........

True, but then again, BF is FREE. :)

Yeah goat. Let us know which server(s) you guys are playing on. I really need a 101 on the game. I dl'ed it last night and found my self wandering around aimlessly for bout half an hour and wondering why this game was so boring and has no action. I didn't realize I was still at my Sanctuary. :p

Quick question: When you gain levels and earn more certificates, how and where do you go to cash them in? For example, where do you learn/train the skills to drive vehicles? Maybe I have to go through the training levels again.

Best thing when you first start is go to the training area in your sanctuary and use all weapons/armor/MAX and vehicles. You'll level up almost to Battle Rank 4 so you can use the cert terminals in the shuttle or HART station to get better weapons and armor and stuff.

Best thing is to also get on TS for easier coordination.
If you want my TS server is still available. If you are in the contributers forum at UP the IP is there if not PM and I'll let you know.
