This will keep a log of chats in WoW.
Heres what I did :
1) download it and extract only the chatlogger folder (from the .ZIP) into
\WOW\Interface\AddOns
2) Then I typed (from inside the game)
/cl enable 1
/cl logchat 1
/cl timestamps 1
These settings will be saved automatically. Type /cl for all of the options.
3) After you quit your WoW session, make sure you run the chatlogger extractor (also included in the .ZIP file). The extractor can be in any folder, and the log files will be placed in the same file as the extractor.
Dont go too long (like 24 hours of game time) without running the extractor because the logged chat will be taking up alot of memory. I keep a shortcut on my desktop to remind me to run the extractor.
The only problem i've encountered is a debug error will come up the next time you log into the game after you have run the extractor, but I can easily escape out of it.
