Tabard vote

Okay, I've come up with some designs. Some are from my own attempts at finding one that fits the asylum theme or are just plain nutty. The rest are from the other tabard thread.

Here's the first five:

Angry Owl
Roadkill squirrel

The only 1 of the top 5 that I like is the 2nd one.

The bottom 4 are all cool but I just had to vote wreath. My second choice would have been the beer followed shortly by the Eye or the X.

My vote is for the "X" as it is representative of someone in a straight-jacket..... hence "Inmates of the Asylum".

Out of the choices presented, I like the fools hat. It reads pretty well from a distance and fits the theme.

Found a few other alternatives though...

top row is a castle tower which could represent the asylum.
Next is a broken skull representing why we are in the asylum.
last is a lock which should be self-explanatory.

The orange background is to represent the orange jumpsuits of incarcerated people everywhere (I had considered black and white, but a white background is too bright and would suck to have to look at constantly).

Any of these should jump out of the crowd pretty well and let us identify each other from a ways off (even at the AH) ;)

I liked the hood, because I originally thought it was an insane person holding his head. :D

But i do like Repoman's choices.. middle row, on the far right.

It looks to me like it's between Wreath and Hood. I say we break it down to those 2 and have a final vote.

You're sure? Once the design is purchased it can never be changed. It'll be that wreath forever.

Like I said... let's go with a finalist vote between these three.

1: Wreath. (Coolest looking IMO.)
2: Hood.
3: The X. (Fits us well and stands out very well.)

I like the Blue tabbard with a white border color scheme the best.

I agree with everyone! I say we do a final vote between the 3 mentioned above......and......I'm going to change my vote from hood to wreath as well.

I think the hood is much more appropriate. Has that "dark monk" feel.

But if it's down to the X and the Wreath, I guess the X. I dont see what a wreath has to do with an asylum, but then again I miss a lot of things. :D'

Might want to start a new poll with the narrowed down choices..

Yeah, I don't see what a wreath has to do with an Asylum either. The hood was my "best fits the theme" choice for the monk look, although as I said above, I like the interpretation of the X as a straightjacket. My personal favorite is angry owl, just because it cracked me up when I saw it.

I've only seen one guild with the wreath icon and the tabard didn't look that great. But that may be because it was pink. (Not inferring anything about the people in the guild, just commenting on how the tabard looked.)

I'll post a run off poll between hood, wreath, and X.
