wonder if this is why steam keeps trying to change my creative startup settings.... :/

Spybot's TeaTimer detects an attempted registry change to my Windows STARTUP routine. STEAM tries to disable the creative media center tool bar from loading when I start Windows. Why? This is just one more reason why I don't like STEAM. Why do they need to do that? Doesn't make sense to me. And why do they try to do it w/o asking? What else are they doing I don't know about?

Dunno Mango- Steam doesn't mess with my system at all, including my Creative toolbar... runs like a gem.

The stutter patch was updated in Steam last night.

Hven't noticed any stuttering since last nights' update.

Unfortunately I have- I just updated my drivers and such too. But it is better. Need more RAM!

hehe I didn't notice any stuttering til steam automagically updated. Now I stutter when entering rooms or new spots of map. gg valve :/ I also have steam set to not auto update so I'll have to check now and be sure it didn't. :/ more work than it's worth really.

alright this mat_forcemanagedtexturesintohardware or whatever it was seemed to stop my stuttering but now my hud doesn't pop up when I switch weapons. If I press '1' it switches to crowbar without popping up the crowbar/grav gun pic. I have to press one again to get the grav gun and this has screwed up my last weapon command. Now when I have the shotgun or overwatch issue rifle and I perss one twice to get the grav, then use grav and press 'lastweapon' bind it goes to crowbar. WTF!?!?!?!?!?

mine will not start.. it loads then nothing... after the patch... DAMMIT!!>.. i have to re-install?
