I get this message when I try to shut down.
It just started popping up, but it stops shut down.
Anybody know how to stop it?

Not I Sta. I hope the smart one answering your question can answer mine too.
My new one is "Server IP copied to Clipbook", it also stops the shut down until I end program.
It's disabled, how can it do that?

Is there any other information in those messages? Title bar? Other text? Does it give you any options (i.e. just OK or do you get a Cancel?).
It would help a lot to know what process is generating the message. If the dialog box doesn't have that info, you might be able to figure out which process is generating it by manually killing some of your system tray apps and then trying a shutdown. If you don't get the message, then it was from one of the apps you killed. Repeat until you figure out which one.
Scan for viruses too.
The server IP one sounds like it might be a utility that can copy-and-paste the IP address for a game server. It might be an Xfire thing or Phan may have that message in BFM8 or UTM8.

There are no other codes which is weird.
However, when I look in taskmgr I find multiple references of 'outlook.exe'....when I manually turn them off (the program wasn't 'on')...then the error does not happen at shut off.

Hmm, sounds like Outlook isn't closing properly when you exit it so the zombie processes hang around. When you start Outlook again it just creates another instance of outlook.exe.
Which version of Outlook are you using? Does it connect to an MS Exchange server or does it use SMTP/POP3 or IMAP? Do you also see one or more instances of MAPISP32.exe in Task Manager when Outlook isn't running? Are there any plug-ins/add-ins for Outlook installed?
Cheers,
