You'll like it. Check POP for our games.

It takes a little getting used to, but the replay value is pretty good.

I was hoping for more of an upgrade over BF42... DC seems a little stronger. AI in BFV does seem better. I'e played a few maps... lots to learn.

It's a pause - look around - dash or crawl to somewhere and then wonder how the heck they saw you, hehe.

I still find myself distracted by greenery (love it). After playing DC for months, I find bfv to be more realistic. Kind of creeps me out being knifed in the back to

I hope you like it Hort, it's more then run & gun.
Moving the spawn point or shadowing someone as they sneak towards your team mates or base, then taking them out.. is cool.

Watch out for StaPuf and Ink.. they are sneaky players.

Single player still sux.

Multi is good. DC(2) on the BFV engine would be nice.
Hope to see you on the server.

When is the next scrim?

Bought BFV last night and I'm installing now... :) Make sure you get the patch to play online: http://www.gamingasylum.net/file.php?id=313. There are still servers running 1.0 but you'll want to avoid them ('cause the M60/LAW is at last nothing but a fading memory).

Cheers,

Yeah it's kind of an across the board incremental improvement over BF42, not really a new playing field, IMO. Lot's of small performance and graphics improvements plus some new features. BF2 should be a bigger change.

Does anybody still use teamspeak to play BFV? If so I'd like to try and get it working for tonight's game. Any info?
