I've joined the Pinnacle Server. My character's name is "Ion Catalyst".

Hopefully I'll get of drinking early enough I'll get to put in some time tonite(thursday). I'll definitely get some time in on Saturday evening at 6:00pm EST, and of course plan to dedicate a good part of sunday afternoon to it.

Let me know if anybody wants to hook up.

They didn't reset the server after the Beta was done? I.e. they let you keep the characters from the beta?

3 day headstart for beta/pre-orders. Gave me a nice lead, but mainly it's that I stayed with the folks I played with in beta. We're very efficient. While most people take on greens/blues/whites, we're taking on mobs 5+ levels higher; purples and reds. Easy to level when you do that all the time.

You can still probably group with us Freshie. I'll just sidekick you. Either way, look me up!

I'm on Pinnacle as well with a few other friends.

My characters:
Suvani (Illusion/Kinetics Controller, lvl 7)
Nighshade (Fire Aura/Battle Axe Tanker, lvl 6)
Skland (Dark Melee/Regen Scrapper, lvl 5)
Tidani (Empathy/Dark Blast Defender, lvl 5)

I'm on usually weeknights between 6pm and 11pm PST. Weekends I'll be on a bit more frequently, depending on plans and such. I'll probably be playing Tidani more often than the other chars, as a healer is proving to be a very valuable character for our group. Anyhow, my other two friends play scrappers and just overall damage dealers..they have about the same amount of chars as me, around the same levels.

Lemme know if you need any tips on your build. I only hit 14 in beta and now that I'm pushing 18, there are a few things I would have done differently.

ok..i'll likely pick this game up like immediately, damn. damn damn damn...and once more i say, damn. Hrm...trying to decide though. Won't have much time tomorrow (class, work all day/night) and saturday I have frisbee tounrament running all day (leave for the tourney at like 7am or earlier, get back god knows when) so i'm trying to decide if i want to pick it up tomorrow, create my character and get acquainted with the system by work friday night, so i can get a running start sunday afternoon...i probally will, i'm an impatient son of a gun.

Any advice for me on whats some decent training paths, oh wise beta-sama? For instance...what combinations of skills will I need to throw large toxic green blobs of doom at people?

Not yet, but might be implemented later. Capes are for wussies anyhow, large lizard tails are the max! :D

yes...they did not implement capes so as to save system resources for things such as large, glowing, green undulating death globs.

I couldn't wait, just picked it up. Logging in now, not sure on character name...maybe Mindle (i'm thinking controller with gravity/telepathy) so that would be a less than creative mix of Mind and Idle. We shall see.

Hopefully i'll be able to catch up with some of you schlubs in game. And f7...unlike our indepedent brother in arms freshie, i have no problems about being someones sidekick :)
