Radio,

By default, you need a CD to play BF1942. The desert combat mod requires no CD, but BF1942 does. I would imagine RTR and SW work in the same way - no cd.

I'll PM you with some more information.. :D

You need a CD to play BF:1942 or DC.

RTR, SW, or the original 2.

Personally I find that frustrating.
You should just use Alcohol 120 and make an ISO of BF:1942 cd2 and mount it into a virtual drive.

Works for me.

That seems to be the trend.. game companies automatically assume that everyone is a software pirate and force their customers to have the game CD in their drive. They are presumptuous to think that their product is the only game people are going to be playing. Whose going to swap CD's everytime they want to play a different game?

Give me a break.

I'm pretty sure with the new patch it enables all the mods and add-ons for use with any one CD. (Preferably the original BF:1942)

But I'm at work so I'd have to double check when I get home.

I haven't touched RtR on a long .... long time.

You should just be able to keep the original BF CD in the drive to play radio. :)

Ya, the funny thing about such anti-piracy measures.. is that the pirates are the ones most likely to have Alcohol120 or DaemonTools ready to go. And it just annoys the crap out the regular users.
