What is the current rotation?

When it crashes does it go to Gazala? (can you make it something else? :confused: )

Any idea why it really laggs up at only certain times...? It is like defrag on my system...the feel.

There was a bug in the server management software. I just received a newer version tonite that fixes it. Should be fine now... CPU usage, which was hovering at about 99%, is now down to 6.5%.

:) good job, that was quick.

I didn't have a big problem, but the server which was hopping with 30 ppl, went to 2 in about 10 minutes ...

Are the Docks in the rotation?

Any chance of getting Iraqi Dam into the rotation? With the number of people I saw playing here over the weekend it could be alot of fun. If anything its a great practice map-everybody can get a vehicle.

Spent some time practicing flying those damn planes on the dam map this weekend.

Can anyone tell me which maps the harrier appears on?

Yes, we are working on getting it into the rotation. One problem with BF'42; if the client does not have the map installed, it does not download it in-game. The Iraqi Dam map is available on our files page...

Do we need to update the client software? BTW, is there a limit to the number of admins who can log into the remote server admin util? I tried last night, but kept getting an error something to the extent that I coudn't establish connection to the server. I know it wasn't a password or IP issue, because when I put in a fake password, I do get an invalid password error. :confused:

Nm, just read the other post about the server having problems. I'll dl the new client version later on tonight and run a test.

Good Point.
Only 7 downloads so far.
Should probably hold off until more people actually have the map.

On other servers *cough - I try to play here only* where custom maps are in rotation, they put a web address for map downloads in the intro. page to the map. Then only players who pass the 'darwin test' can play ;)

Don't worry about the map downloads for DC. In a few weeks everybody will be installing them. Stock '42 maps will no longer work with DC after the next patch.

You can grab almost every custom dc map to date here (http://38.144.82.108/pafiledb/pafiledb.php?action=category&id=5). They have compiled 4 map packs for DC alone and they also have single map downloads.
