Server Upgrade

Depending on the timing of the DC .7 release this Friday, I will be upgrading the server on either Friday or Saturday.

The upgrade will include both the BF1942 1.6 patch and the DC .7 one.

I will post more as things develop.

I already have BF 1.5 full patch, so I'll need the 1.6 full patch as my upgrade choice?

I think....you would need just the incremental patch.

I haven't had much luck with the incremental patchs. Twice now I had to start over with a new install because of those pesky suckers. :smirk:

Can the full patch just be used anyway and maybe I won't have to do the new install?

From what I have heard, the incremental patch works fine. I also do not see any prob with installing the full version over 1.5.

In case you have not noticed, the server is now running on BF1942 version 1.6 (with PunkBuster enabled) and Desert Combat version .7.
