Help!

I'm trying to set up my secondary PC to be a web server, mostly for practicing page design. I've got Apache 2.something (whatever the latest non-beta is). I'm holding off installing MySQL and php until I get the Frontpage Extensions on.

I've tried following instructions I've found on the web, but I always seem to do something wrong and wind up getting dumped out of the install batch file. After scrolling through about 50 pages of licensing 7 or 8 times, I'm ready to pull what little hair I have left out.

Surely someone here has installed Frontpage Extensions onto Apache 2.0?

The PC is:
1Ghz Pentium 3
512MB Ram
40GB hard drive (10GB Windows 98 partition, 30GB Red Hat Linux 7.2)

Any ideas?

Never used FP Extentions with Apache, but this site may be of help: http://www.sitepointforums.com/

Waaaaaay back when I was co-sysadmin on our dev team's source and web server I remember that FP Extensions was a major hassle and never worked right. And this was with IIS. Frontpage the app had a tendency to turn out pages that were blank in non-IE browsers (we had two Opera users and one Netscape 4.7 die-hard) so I was against it all just on principle. :)
