I know many of you (myself included) feel that Helos are a bit over-armoured. In fact, Ink and I did a few tests a week or so ago and found that one Stinger takes a Helo almost all the way out. We also found out that there is some sort of bug with the Hind...if you hit if right on the doors (on the side of the aircraft) with a Stinger, it does almost nothing at all. Anywhere else and its the same as the Apache.
The BEST thing to take out a Helo is a Fighter (Mig/ F16). If you know you have a pilot in either of these on your team, call for help and get him/ her over there.
One missle from a Fighter will take a Helo out. A decent burst with the cannons will do the same thing.
Same with the Strike Planes (A10/ SU-25). One missle or a good burst of the cannons.
If anyone would like a bit of Anti-Helo/ Anti-Strike plane training, give me a holler...shooting down Helos=good :D
