Just a quick note, when trying to download bf1942:DC from this site, my machine would crash, usually just after the download would begin. I was wondering if any of you had this problem.

I did finally get the file, after I reformatted my machine. It was time anyway. Ask F7, I have a bit of a reputation for formatting.

I was sure Mikey posted he changed that DC file out as it was corrupted.

When did you d/l the file from here?

Over at the Quirky Bastards forums, we refer to formatting as "Orioning". :p

I tried getting it last night. I tried running the file today, got the same kind of strange crash. Likely something is seriously goofy with my machine. I'll keep you updated.

What OS?

What browser?

If it's WindowsX / IE6, I dunno....

It it's something else, I dunno.... but I'll try and duplicate the problem and see if it can be worked out.

Ya, running win2k with IE6. I was able to download and load the patch on the second try. Now I seem to have some issues with the battle of brittian map, that one crashes me back to desktop. Slowly but surely I will have this game up and running!
