One nice little addition to keep the snipers on their toes is the “sniper flare.” This allows light to reflect off your rifle’s scope possibly giving away your position while also serving to provide balanced play.
The radar system shows your team placements but you’re left to listen to audio cues for your opponent’s whereabouts. This really draws you into the gameplay as you slowly move through the dense underbrush, listening for the distant cry of automatic gunfire or your opponent’s boots tripping up the sand as they run up the beach to your position. And let’s not even get into the inflatable water craft whose Evenrude motors have you flying across the waters surface to your next assault position.
